Studying nanomaterials gave me the knowledge, insight and opportunity to get where I am at work – also, friends and several years of amazing student life. I definitely evaluate it positively. It could only be more demanding and more in-depth in some areas (programming, quantum physics).

Tomáš Vaněk | | Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences

Thanks to my studies, I gained an orientation in the world of materials. The quality of the teachers was excellent, and so was the overall concept of the study.

Tomáš Ulrich | researcher | TUL

I changed quite a bit of the field, but I could either apply or develop the basics I learned. At the beginning of my research, I worked with carbon nanoparticles, which I became acquainted with in detail at TUL, so I could draw on the literature I knew.

Monika Holubová | | Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences

Studying nanomaterials has given me two university degrees, a very decent foundation in the natural sciences, a passion for working on the development of state-of-the-art scientific and technical solutions, the opportunity to travel around Europe several times (and live in Spain and Finland for a long time) and five years with a bunch of great people. I really appreciate the personal approach of practically all teachers, thanks to which one has never come up as just a "number".

Matěj Hejda | | University of Strathclyde

From the perspective of knowledge, I especially appreciate the acquired broad overview in various topics related to nanomaterials. I think we also got a perfect theoretical basis. At the same time, I am glad that the teaching schedule made it possible to devote myself to extracurricular activities necessary for personal development.
